We are located just 3.5 miles south of Rhayader - the outdoor capital of Wales and just 10 miles north of Builth Wells, home to the royal Welsh Showground. If you are using Satnav it may tell you to turn off the A470. Don't do this as Vulcan Lodge is just set back from the A470. There is a fuel garage, spa and Greggs on site for supplies during your stay.

Close by: River Wye behind the Lodge - Wye Valley Walk - Sustrans routes 8 and 81 - Wye/Usk Foundation canoe access point - Bus stop to Llandrindod Wells and Rhayader.
